  • Brittany Sinitch (she/her)

    Brittany is an educator, speaker, and founder of The Unbreakable Organization, where she leads programming and strategic initiatives focused on youth mental health, resilience, and community building. She brings expertise in education, program development, and partnership building, with a strong focus on creating accessible, student centered mental health resources. Brittany has taught and mentored students from elementary through college, including at Florida State University and Princeton University, and is recognized for her ability to engage and mobilize young people. Her leadership has been honored with distinctions including Forbes 30 Under 30 in Education. She is deeply committed to ensuring no young person feels alone in their mental health journey and to continuing to expand The Unbreakable Organization’s mission of connection, resilience, and accessible support.

  • Carolyn Rubenstein, PhD (she/her)

    Dr. Carolyn Rubenstein is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Florida, where she runs a thriving private practice. With degrees from Duke, Harvard, and the University of Miami, she has trained under some of the world’s leading psychologists. Dr. Rubenstein specializes in helping individuals navigate burnout, anxiety, and the complexities of modern life using evidence-based strategies grounded in deep compassion. As a mother of two (ages 8 and 11), she is especially passionate about advancing youth mental health through connection, compassion, and support - particularly during the most difficult times. She is the author of Perseverance: How Young People Turn Fear into Hope-and How They Can Teach Us to Do the Same. Dr. Rubenstein is dedicated to expanding access to care through community initiatives and leadership that challenge outdated narratives and move beyond viewing youth as “broken.” She is honored to help amplify the mission of Unbreakable and contribute to meaningful, lasting change.

  • Brian Goldfuss (HE/HIM)

    Brian Goldfuss is the Vice President – Benefits Consultant at Acentria Insurance in their West Palm Beach office, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across corporate management, public service, and community engagement. He previously served 18 years with the Boynton Beach Police Department, where he developed the department’s Homeless Outreach Program, an initiative that connected individuals with housing, mental health services, and long term support through cross sector partnerships. Brian brings a service minded leadership approach, strong relationship building skills, and a deep passion for creating meaningful, lasting impact in Palm Beach County, while fostering collaborative solutions, strengthening community partnerships, and supporting initiatives that improve access to resources, empower individuals, and build healthier, more resilient communities.

  • Robbie Menendez (he/him), MBA

    Robbie works closely with doctors specializing in the Central Nervous System, as well as neurological and psychiatric care. Through his experience studying mental health disorders and addiction, he has developed a deep sense of empathy for individuals on their journey to recovery and is passionate about making mental health care more accessible, approachable, and understood. Originally from Parkland, Florida and a graduate of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Robbie was deeply impacted by the events of 2018 and became involved early on with MFOL, supporting efforts to end gun violence and uplift young voices. He has also supported The Unbreakable Organization from its early stages and is especially passionate about advancing its programs and expanding their reach. With a Master of Business Administration, strong connections within the mental health space, and a commitment to driving meaningful change, Robbie is excited to continue contributing to the organization’s growth and impact.

  • KARLENE MAHARAJ (she/her)

    Karlene Maharaj (Kay) is a seasoned operations and development leader with over 20 years of experience strengthening nonprofit organizations through strategic infrastructure, fundraising systems, and executive operations. She brings a results oriented approach to helping mission driven organizations scale sustainably and deliver measurable, community centered impact. Throughout her career, Kay has partnered with C suite executives and boards to optimize development operations, implement CRM platforms, and strengthen donor engagement. She is known for building systems and governance structures that enhance accountability and support data informed decision making. Kay is passionate about expanding access, uplifting underserved communities, and creating lasting change, values that align closely with The Unbreakable Organization’s mission to empower young people to build resilience and champion their mental health, and she is dedicated to helping organizations grow their impact and reach more youth.

  • Rachel Handfinger (she/her)

    Rachel Handfinger is an educator, entrepreneur, and community advocate with nearly two decades of experience supporting students and strengthening school communities. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and spent 18 years teaching in Palm Beach County, where she was known for her deep commitment to student growth and well-being. As a Parkland resident and mother of five, including two students who attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Rachel was personally impacted by the tragedy at Douglas. This experience deepened her dedication to advancing mental health awareness and support for youth and families. In addition to her work in education, Rachel is a co-owner of CrossFit Immersion, where she fosters a community-centered environment focused on both physical and mental wellness. She is passionate about expanding access to mental health education and bringing impactful, trauma-informed programming into schools, aligning closely with The Unbreakable Organization’s mission to support healing, resilience, and youth empowerment.

  • Edvardo Archer, LMFT

    Edvardo Archer is a distinguished Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in South Florida, with over 15 years of dedicated experience in serving families walking through their toughest moments. Throughout his extensive career, Edvardo has fervently pursued his passion for building bridges and fostering connections. His life's work is a testament to his commitment to implementing robust organizational support structures and advocating for individual empowerment, thereby contributing to the holistic enhancement of local communities.

  • Shanti Hollis, LMHC

    Shanti Hollis is a licensed therapist and founder of Something New Counseling and Wellness in Jacksonville, Florida, supporting women and teen girls navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from Southern Adventist University. With experience in schools and community agencies, Shanti understands the emotional impact of trauma and chronic stress. She is also passionate about expanding access to mental health resources through shareable content and community events.

  • Matthew Woodfork, PhD

    Matthew B. Woodfork, Ph.D. is a psychologist and Assistant Director at Florida International University Counseling and Psychological Services (FIU CAPS), where he supervises clinicians and doctoral interns. Originally from Syracuse, NY, he earned his bachelor’s in Psychology and a doctorate in Counseling/School Psychology from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. He runs a telehealth private practice offering culturally responsive therapy and is a past president of the Association of Black Psychologists, South Florida Chapter. His work reflects a commitment to advancing mental health, supporting diverse communities, and fostering professional excellence.

  • Dr. Jason Prendergast, LMHC, NCC, LCPC

    Dr. Jason-Anthony Prendergast is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Advanced Certified Clinical Pastoral Counselor, and Ordained Minister from Chicago. He holds a Doctorate in Pastoral Psychology, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health, and an MBA from Liberty University. Featured on TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: Last Resort and ESPN’s Long Live Seven, he has over 15,000 clinical hours helping clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and faith-related concerns. His integrative style combines compassion, accountability, and spiritual insight to foster self-awareness, healing, and growth.

  • Serena Bradshaw, Ph.D Candidate in Counseling Psychology

    Serena Bradshaw is a sixth-year Counseling Psychology doctoral candidate at Howard University from Miami, Florida, completing her predoctoral internship at the University of Miami’s Counseling Center. She focuses on clinical work, research, and community engagement, helping individuals and communities heal from trauma and manage emotions. Her research examines professional Black women, exploring how dating experiences and faith relate to mental health. Serena emphasizes lived experience as a framework for understanding psychological well-being.

  • Laura Yassky RMHC-I

    Laura Yassky is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Marketing from Duke University, where she was a Division I student-athlete and Academic All-American. With experience in consulting and career coaching, Laura uses evidence-based approaches including CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, CPT, and DBT, often integrating mindfulness and somatic practices. Her client-centered approach empowers individuals to develop coping skills, take ownership of their growth, and work toward meaningful self-transformation.
