We prioritize mental health and normalize open conversations to foster understanding in schools and communities. Through trauma-informed programs and SEL initiatives, we empower students, support educators, and create spaces where people can connect, share, and prioritize well-being.

our programs

In partnership with the Born This Way Foundation and the Cotton On Foundation, students came together to explore connection, storytelling, and taking action around mental health. Through journaling, listening to inspiring speakers, and sharing their experiences, they reflected on how to support themselves and each other. By the end, students felt empowered to bring mental health initiatives back to their schools and make a real difference in their communities.

youth mental health workshops in action

Led by our Youth Advisory Board, this workshop brought together students from across Florida to explore what leadership truly means. They discovered that leadership comes in many forms from quiet voices that lead by example to bold voices that inspire action and discussed how empathy and self-care shape the way we treat others. Students left inspired to use their unique strengths to create supportive, compassionate school communities.

MENTAL HEALTH ACTION DAY

Partnering with MTV and CBS Owned Stations, students spent the day exploring self-care, connection, and mental health in action. Through hands-on activities and meaningful conversations, they learned how to support themselves and their peers. Many left motivated to take what they learned back to their schools, creating safe, inclusive spaces where mental health is a priority.

Movement and Mental Health

This initiative, supported by Aerie, brought students and community members together for journaling, reflection, and conversation. It was a space to pause, connect, and focus on mental well-being while strengthening relationships. Participants left feeling encouraged, supported, and ready to foster care and connection in their communities.

Songs That Make You Unbreakable

Students and performers shared their personal stories through music, highlighting themes of resilience, identity, and strength. Each performance was a reminder that our experiences shape us, and sharing them can inspire understanding and connection. The event celebrated individuality while showing how our stories can bring people together.

In partnership with the Harvard Institute of Politics, student leaders discussed the emotional challenges of activism, including trauma, burnout, and self-care. Through honest conversation and shared experiences, participants explored how to balance advocacy with well-being while continuing to create meaningful change. The event left students equipped and inspired to lead with both courage and care.
